FlammaBead® Magnetic, streptavidin is a magnetic nanoparticle that can be utilized in a wide range of biological and biomedical applications such as cell separation, antigen detection, DNA extraction, protein purification, etc. 

The surface of the particle is coated with hydrophilic silica and is functionalized with streptavidin. FlammaBead® Magnetic beads exert strong magnetism and display excellent dispersion ability, which enable to perform the fast binding and the excellent separation of target molecules. Effective binding to biotin on the target substance may allow the rapid identification and the separation of the substance. The relatively small particle size (200 ~ 300 nm) affords a large surface area that increase the binding capacity to biotin.
