This particular in vitro diagnostic medical device employs various measurement methods to assess components in whole blood (K2-EDTA). White blood cells, neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, nucleated red blood cells, and abnormal red blood cells are determined through flow cytometry. Additionally, red blood cells, red blood cell volume, platelets, platelet volume, and hemoglobin are quantified using the electrical resistance and absorbance measurement methods.
